Successful projects achieve alignment ​between people, process, technology and ​culture, and deliver the expected business ​ou​tcomes.

When should I consider ​engaging external help to plan ​and​ manage a digital project?

You can appoint a person internally or ​engage an external consultant to manage ​the change, but it is important that the ​person has sufficient capacity and is ​properly equipped with the right skills to ​manage all 4 domains of people, process, ​technology and culture.

If you are limited in bandwidth or do not ​have deep skills in all 4 domains, you may ​consider an external consultant. Generally ​engaging early is better because its easier ​to setup the project for success at the start ​than to fix a project that is running into ​challenges.
